I am a multimedia artist and scholar from Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. I document and archive personal, familial, and community stories of the Latinx diaspora in the U.S. — with a focus on self and collective preservation, sustainability, and autonomy. I approach my work with both intuition and deep research — via documentaries, poetic films, archives, and installations. I combine oral histories, interviews, archival investigation, reflection, and participant observation to honor the lives and lineages that have shaped me and others with dignity, care, and nuance. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Media Arts + Practice at USC, where I continue to blend academic research with community centered creation.
